Hari Nair

Having created India's first travel community Hari Nair challenged the way tourism industry operated and brought the voice of the Indian traveller at the center of Indian tourism, defining its implications on economic policy, foreign trade and technology. Today, Hari is a sought-after speaker in the Indian Tourism, Internet & Entrepreneurship forums such as TiE Delhi, IAMAI Travel & Tourism Summit Delhi, India Internet Day, CMS Asia, GliterARTi Delhi, Construkt Festival Bangalore, Echelon Singapore, Afaqs Brand Summit, Dainik Bhaskar UNmetro, TiEcon, GMIC, etc. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Hari was a Partner with KPMG India and was involved in an advisory capacity in many landmark infrastructure projects in India, including the Dabhol Power project, privatization of the power supply in New Delhi, privatization of the four metro airports etc. Before that he focused on conceiving and implementing new projects for investors with Feedback Ventures where he picked up a ring-side view of the managerial aspects of running a start-up company and managing growth. His 15 year long & enriching Consulting career path is also dotted with assignments with companies like TCS, PWC and Ernst & Young, which included various national & international postings. His interests include traveling, wide-ranging reading and water sports. He was also a one time member of the World Futures Society.

Ashutosh Kumar

Ashutosh Kumar is currently leading a non-profit organization, called Jagriti, as Executive Director. Jagriti's vision is 'building India through enterprise' by promoting and supporting entrepreneurship in small towns and villages of India.Jagriti Yatra, the first initiative, is a 15-day, 8000-kms annual national train journey to inspire the youth to become entrepreneurs. The program has impacted more than 4000 youth in the last 9 years, resulting in over 500 enterprises. It has been replicated successfully in different countries like France and USA. The program has created a vast network of mentors, experts, and entrepreneurs all across the country. The second initiative, called Jagriti Enterprise Centre, is leveraging this network to set up regional incubators to support scalable enterprises that can generate employment, create livelihoods, and thus foster economic prosperity in the region. The key services offered are mentorship, market connect and access to funds.Ashutosh is an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur, and an IVLP (International Visitor Leadership Program by US Govt.) alumnus. He is a member of India@75 Taskforce for Skilling and Entrepreneurship, an initiative by CII (Confederation of Indian Industry). He is a theatre enthusiast, and has made several short films.

Deepak Goel

Deepak Goel is the founder of KarmaCircles, an online peer-to-peer knowledge sharing platform. He believes in creating bite-sized opportunities for “structured giving” and contributing to the pay-it-forward movement by putting good karma out in the world. Deepak is originally from India, but came to Silicon Valley to work for Microsoft after he finished college. There, he “grew up next door” next to all the startup legends under the influence of Steve Blank and Eric Ries. He continued to Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley and worked as an early Product Manager at during a period of 6X growth. He returned to India for a while to grow a real estate company, IndiaHomes and then returned to the US to be a co-founder at Packback, which brought him here to Chicago. Deepak plays the role of mentor, adviser and investor to multiple startups. He advises through organizations such as 500 Startups and Impact Engine, and is an angel investor himself; but he spends a great deal of his time mentoring and advising for free. It’s actually all this pro bono advice that gave him the inspiration for KarmaCircles. With platforms such as KarmaCircles, Deepak hopes that people can easily give more frequently, in varying amounts and in varying capacities. “Giving will come back to you in ways that you cannot imagine. A company came out of all this giving!”. KarmaCicles is also being used by business schools and companies to foster and promote mentoring programs.

Salil Agarwal

Salil Agarwal is the Co-Founder & CBO of ZiffyHomes. He started ZiffyHomes in May 2015, raised undisclosed angel funding in July 2016. He manages over 100 properties across Delhi NCR. Besides, Salil has also been involved in many ventures. He was at ZO Rooms as Expansion Evangelist in march 2015 where he created Strategic pipelines for the expansion of brand ZO in new geographies and grown the presence to 30 cities in just 3 months Before, in July 2014, Salil worked as Venture Developmentalist at Rocket Internet and consulted Rocket's brand Foodpanda India for both Development and Implementation of robust technologies across systems. He had co-founded and also dotted with projects with Wipro in his long run. The idea of Ziffyhomes owes its conception to the personal struggle of the 3 founders for whom finding a suitable place in Delhi turned into a nightmare. ZiffyHomes started working together taking technology at hands and empathy at heart to ensure luxury of life to all bachelors who are finding it difficult to enjoy their life after landing themselves in a professional arena in unknown cities altogether.It ensures the owners a fixed monthly return without a brokerage fee and provides brokerage free fully furnished living units to bachelors too. Amajit Gupta

He is an accomplished IT & telecom industry professional with more than 23 years’ deep exposure in technology business applications (Mobile, broadband, cloud/DC) and emerging markets biz development (India and SE Asia in particular). He has been actively involved in funding tech-based startups across our country. Over the last decade he has worked in senior General Management and P&L positions as Director , Executive Vice President and lately as Managing Director with very large global multinational companies like - Motorola, Lucent Technologies (Bell Labs), Telstra International, Microsoft India, Alcatel Lucent and his last assignment in Juniper Networks. He has been a regular speaker in the media and industry bodies in this region, and an independent board member and advisor to mid-sized tech start up’s and VC funds. He was nominated by Indian Media house, Hindustan Times and Haryana State government as India’s top 10, IT and telecom technologist for 2013 and 2014.

Ravindra Chaudhary

Ravindra Chaudhary is the CEO of Patanjali Food and Herbal park. He is a Science graduate (PGDBM) having more than 20 years of experience of FMCG sector in project management & operations. He has worked with Shahnaz Herbals, Surya Herbals, Emami, VIJohn, as well as in other renowned overseas companies. Ravindra Chaudhary has set up many industrial FMCG projects, developed many herbal cosmetics formulations in India as well in Overseas. He was also a member of BIS formulation committee.

Kishore Mandhyan

Kishore Mandhyan is a man who has had experience of handling stresses of national and international concern. Having a magnificent record in political education of both a student and a teacher in Ivy League Schools,he has a vast experience in international negotiation and diplomacy. Starting his education as a physics undergraduate, and then going to Government Law College for studying law, he then proceeded to Fletcher School to pursue studies in International Political Economy, Policy and Governance, and Diplomatic History to complete his higher education Having served as Political Director and Deputy Director for Peacekeeping, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs in the Cabinet of the Secretary General of the United Nations between 2007 and 2012, he has honed his skills in various fields including addressing sensitive social issues, to negotiation and diplomatic coordination in war-like zones. Kishore Mandhyan is a man of letters whose work has been acknowledged by many reputed institutions and organizations of the likes of Harvard University and United Nations. He has also held Political and Civil Operations as a part of UN Peace Missions & transitional administrations in the former Yugoslavia, Cyprus, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq.

Anupam Raghuwanshi
